The Think Big Conference is a conference that invites up and coming young videogame designers and artists to come and learn some tips and tricks to improve their work from professionals in the
gaming industry.
Target audience is those looking to improve their skills at designing videogames, whether that be art design or coding.
The theme for these deliverables is based on classic old game design and pixel art. Not only does the design represent how far videogames have come, but also shows how old designs can be made new such as Minecraft or Terraria for example.
Coming up with a logo was difficult but once I had an idea more soon followed until I had a lot of ideas to make the perfect logo for the conference. I thought back to when I first started to play videogames and how I used to love the old Mario and Duck hunt type games. Then I remembered how I now play games in that same videogame pixel art style such as Minecraft, Terraria, and Undertale to name a few. I realized what was popular back then is still popular right now so I decided to make the logo a pixel artwork. Using inspiration from various games I've played in the past on how it would look.
When coming up with ideas for the advertisements I had to keep in mind that to keep on theme with the logo the advertisement would also have to be done in pixel art so it could not be too detailed. So eventually I gave up on these ideas and went with a more simple design.
After I decided what my theme and logo would be it was easy to incorporate those elements into the final products including the T-shirt, booth banners, and Billboard.
